Lagos Seven checks decide the number beside a bookmaker here, and each of them reads the wording that bookmaker publishes about getting money out.

Ready to pay

This is the index itself. A bookmaker enters it once we can read one of the three things that decide whether it will pay you: its withdrawal terms, its verification requirements, or the licence it holds. Nothing else buys a place in the table.

Disclosure belongs at the head of this note and not tucked under it: several of these rows link out through arrangements that pay this site a commission when a reader opens an account, and the Payout Index that orders them is arithmetic finished before any of that is looked at. Now the columns. The first sets out the licence line the way the bookmaker itself sets it out, issuer and number together where both appear and the surviving half alone where only one does. The second gives the company that puts its name to the site, which across these rows runs from a named limited company to nothing whatsoever. Neither column has been held up against a register. No column reports how long a withdrawal takes, because that figure has not been read at source for a single one of the six.

The entry rule, and why it is that rule

Plenty of Nigerian brands advertise heavily and publish almost nothing about the moment money leaves the account. A book that will not say how it pays cannot be graded on how it pays, so it stays out of the table rather than sitting in it on the strength of its marketing.

The three doors are deliberately different in kind. Withdrawal terms are a promise, verification rules are a condition on that promise, and a licence number is the address of whoever hears you when the promise breaks.

How to read a row

The percentage is not a payout speed and it is not a rating of the company. It is a compound of the graded axes, and its usefulness is comparative: it tells you which of two rows is better documented on the things that decide a payout.

Betway Nigeria's own FAQ says withdrawals are usually automatic there, while adding that a withdrawal may be delayed by maintenance or a banking error. Read that as the shape of the commitment, not as a stopwatch reading.

Where the numbers came from

Licence numbers, minimum deposits, stated withdrawal windows and lobby counts were read on the operators' own sites and help centres in August 2026, with the source page recorded for each figure. A few operators render nothing useful to a plain request and had to be opened in a browser instead.

Where a figure is missing from a row, it is missing because the operator's own pages did not carry it, and the cell says so instead of borrowing a number from elsewhere. Not one figure in this table came to us second hand.

What a high score does not buy you

A strong row means the operator documents itself well. It is not an assurance that a specific withdrawal will clear, that a bonus will convert, or that a state authority will side with you in a dispute.

Since November 2024 there is no single national body standing behind any of these brands, so the practical protection you have is the one written into the state licence the operator names.
